2 Jack camp (Thursday to Saturday) UPDATED

    We are going to 2 Jacks again this year for a camping training camp!

    A few things to know/do before the camp:
    – Let Becky know how many in your family is coming and what your camping arrangements are (tent, trailer, etc….). She needs this by August 15th.
    – You are responsible for your food, sport drink, water, rides, etc… during the camp. We supply coaching at the camp. Make sure you talk to other families (TT’s and biathletes are also taking part) if you don’t have rides.
    – Bring your training program with you.

    SCHEDULE:

    Thu (27):
    AM: We will do some Z3 ski striding intervals at Norquay (as per your training program). Meet in the Norquay ski hill parking lot at 9:30am (bring ski poles!). Becky organized for you to drop off your gear to the Two Jack Main Campground (not Lakeside) before the Thursday morning workout (bring a lock for your bike). Ask at the kiosk where the CNSC campsite is in the group campground. DO NOT DROP OFF FOOD OR COOLERS AT THAT TIME PLEASE.

    PM: Z1 bike ride on road from the campground. Mt-bikes are fine too.

    Fri (28):
    AM: Z1 & strength on RS-SK equipment at the Sunshine road (yahoo; new pavement). Meet at 9am at the bottom of the Sunshine Rd.

    PM: Z1 run from the campground

    Sat (29):
    AM: Uphill RS-CL time trial at Norquay. Same course as last time. Meet at the bottom of Norquay hill at 9:30am. The xc camp ends after this workout at 11:30am. You will need to get your equipment there that morning.

    PM: Z1 on your own after dinner – look at your training program
