Good racing out there today team. Many great rounds and lots learned throughout the day. Keep that power going into tomorrow!
Weather: Low -6 and about -2 at race time, light wind, partly cloudy.
Course Details:
U14 M/F – 4.0 km (2 LAPS of the blue 2km)
5 Tracks for the mass start, 3 tracks set around the remainder of the course.
Technique zone is on the last hill ~20M long. Don’t double pole in it.
You all skied it well on Friday, now just get out and put all those great pieces together.
Start times are on Zone4. Note that males start first, then the females 2 min after. The starters will load the whole grid with the males in the front, then the females behind. Start the males, females ski forward 20 M to your start tag, hold for 2 min, and start on the command. Timing chips will be in the stadium.
Arrive at the team room at 9:45 to collect your bib. We will start the warm up at 9:55 on your race skis. This will allow time for touch ups before your race if needed. Girls with Issy, boys with Matt but all at the same time. Meet at your skis on the side of the building.
Awards will be at 12:30 at the west end of the day lodge.
Remember, you live in these mountains and climb hills every day; no need to fear the challenging course. Let’s get out there and see how fast we can go!
