All race skis are to be glide waxed with Solda Performance Red. If you do not have a block you can purchase some from the Club, at the Team Room between 10 and 2pm tomorrow, Friday 4th.

Classic race skis need to be brought to the Team Room by 11am on Saturday. You need to clean the kick zone thoroughly, meaning no stickiness on base, side walls or top of ski. Make sure you sand your wax pocket with #100 grit paper and your kick zones are clearly marked. Thanks!! 😛

Specific race details will be posted here as we get them! See attached course maps.

    Saturday 5th – 1 x 2.5km Classic Individual Start
    Welcoming Committee – Nadine Delorme
You need to arrive at the Nordic Centre/Day Lodge around 13:20pm. Check in at the Team Room and collect your bib, then take your bag with food and a change of clothes to the Day Lodge, no gear to be left in the Team Room.

Warm up skis are your responsibility (if you own them). Put a layer of Swix universal klister at home and bring with you in the morning.

Meet at the Team Room at 13:40pm. We will warm up as a team for 25 mins then we’ll head back to the Team Room to collect race skis and test them with plenty of time before the start of the races!

    Race specifics:
*They will remove 1 track under the bridge on the 2.5km course. 3 tracks everywhere around except for that portion of the course.
*Please use the tunnel to get to the start. Talk to your coach about where the tunnel is!
*This race uses chip timing. You will get this chip at the start.
*This is a classic race. No skating is allowed and the rules have tightened up a bit this year. You can only change tracks when there is a corner. No changing lanes on straightaways.
