Awesome racing today guy and girls. I was super proud of the way you all handled the first race and it was great to see you all out there ‘givin er’!

Glide wax your skis with the same wax as today and drop off to the team room 1.5 – 2hr before your race start time. Do not put on a base kick wax, but make sure your skis are clean, well brushed, well marked and named!

Course will close at 8:45am. You can warm up and test your skis on the public side of the Banff trail after this time. Your race skis will be ready 30 minutes before your start time.

    It’s a 15sec interval start race.

Stadium: Take a look at the stadium when you get there since it is set up different than today. The map is also on our website.

Athletes will use transponders (ankle bracelets) for timing. Arrive at the start 2 min earlier than usual to get those on.

For young athletes: please review the start wand start procedure with your coach before.

Courses: Check our main page on website for the trail maps and all other race info http://www.canmorenordic.com.

Distances and approximate start times for the first skier of that category:
    Midget: 2km 11:20 boys, 11:27:15 girls
    Mini Midget: 2km, 11:35 boys, 11:40:30 girls

Please double check all the times above on zone4.ca

Access to start is the same as today. Please no not cross in front of the BWTC, go around the lodge to the East end.

Warm up skis – information will be posted on the Club Facebook and Twitter in the morning. We will warm up together so please meet me at the Team Room at 10:30am.

Awards: starting at 12:30pm. Please try to attend and cheer on your club members!

It may be wet tomorrow so please make sure you have a full change of clothes and possibly a spare pair of socks/gloves/toque/head band to change after your warm up.

Looking forward to seeing you all put all that classic technique work on show tomorrow! 8) 8)
