Hi T1/2’s
The Alberta Youth Cross Country Ski Championships (AYC) will take place in Bragg Creek March 1-3, 2012. This event has an early registration deadline of December 15 – it is possible to register after Dec 15 however at a much increased cost. The event is a camp style event – kids stay at Kamp Kiwanis in Bragg Creek for the weekend. The event includes 5 meals, accommodation, and event registration all for $115 ($160 after Dec 15). This is an incredible price for a weekend camp style cross country ski event.
The event is an important on our event calendar and we are hoping that all 25 T1/2s can attend. The AYC includes an individual start skate race on the saturday, a fun relay event on saturday afternoon and a wave start classic race on sunday.
Ask kids who went last year, they’ll tell you it was alot of fun.
