Hello U16/18 Biathlon,
Stu will be away again this week, so I’ll be running the show while he’s out. Here’s our plan for this week:
Monday (7)
No Team Training, Long Weekend.
Tuesday (8)
Multi / Primo / TTS Dev
8:30-10:30. Shooting @ CNC. We’re taking another look at breathing, but ramping up the intensity into Zone 5.
Wednesday (9)
Multi / Primo / TTS Dev
9:00-10:30. Classic rollerski intensities @ CNC.
Thursday (10)
Multi / Primo / TTS Dev
8:00-12:30. Distance day: Classic rollerski Fireside to Norquay & run Cory Pass. See XC Forum for details.
Saturday(12)
Multi / Primo / TTS Dev
9:30-1:00 Run/Hike out to Ribbon Falls with Foothills Nordic. Pack 2L water, 3 bars, rain jacket. Meet at Ribbon Falls Trailhead. Parking can be busy so leave a little extra time in case you need to park father down the road/ in the overflow lot.
Monthly Challenge:
Our monthly challenge for August is top mat time for both prone (min. 4/5 hits) and standing (min. 3/5 hits). If you’re looking for more dryfire to do outside of your prescribed sessions, work your setup and see if you can quicken any of your steps in creating your position!
Time yourself in dryfire, and see if you can those same numbers when the pressure is on in the range!
