Hello Team,
Welcome to the final week of summer training. We will go out with a solid chunk of training this week to wrap up this block with the first week of school planned as a recovery week. Don’t be afraid to go for it this week and log some big hours. There will be no team training August 26-Sept 2. This will be a well deserved rest week while everyone goes back to school and you get into the rhythm. Following this break we will switch over to our Fall schedule.

9:00-11:00 Gym first, then outdoor agility on foot. Meet at the BWTC.

9:00-11:00 Skate rollerski technique and sprints. Meet at the teamroom.
Wednesday(21)

9:00-10:30 Classic rollerski intensity- double pole focus in Z5 with some finishing kick work.

5:00-6:00 Strength with Chelsea

8:00-2:00 Hike/run Rockbound Lake to Helena Ridge or Castle Peak. Meeting at the Rockbound Lake Trailhead right by Castle Junction. Big day out moving in the mountains. Older athletes plan for 28km of running/hiking, younger athletes, 23km. You should have/drink 3L of water, and have lots of snacks/sandwich/lunch to fuel yourself on the hike- equivalent of 5 bars. Also (as always in the mountains) pack your rain jacket, and additional layers if needed based on the weather. We will do our best to be back at the trailhead at 2:00, but could be +/- 30 min if we are super close to reaching the summit.
