Hello LCs,
Summer time is a great time to build your aerobic capacity through long distance zone 1 training. As well, it is an optimal time to build your strength foundation. So this week we will be getting the best of both worlds.
Remember: Starting Aug 1 we will begin our iLog challenge. If you complete all 31 days of your August iLog entries, you will be entered in to a draw to win a prize (a giant toblerone) at the end of the month! So get logging.
Training for this week:
Monday(3): NO TEAM TRAINING- Happy Heritage Day
Tuesday(4): **LC1 and LC2 separate today**
LC1- 10:00-12:00 Agility training and strength. Meet at the teamroom.
LC2- Bike from home for 30 min and meet at the gym at 10am for strength. Bike home for a cool down.
Wednesday(5): **LC1 & LC2 today**
8:00-11:30 CHANGE: Due to the cold, wet, slippery conditions, we will run first then road bike (if drier). Bring your running gear and extra clothes. The workout will be shorter (up to 2.5 hours). We will still meet at Travel Alberta 8:00-10:30am.
Thursday(6): **LC1 and LC2 separate today**
LC1 Bike from home for 30 minutes and meet at the gym at 10:30. Bike home for a cool down.
LC2- Bike from home for 30 min and meet at the gym at 9:30 for strength. Bike home for a cool down.
