    Hi Everyone,
For those of you that are racing the BCRR this weekend, we have now got all the final details about the race from the organizers. Please read this carefully as this is slightly different than the details posted last night.

Schedule for Jackrabbit and Mini midgets

Arrive at COP: 8:45am. You will need to 1) pick up your bib at Race Office, in the Hall Of Fame – lower floor (ticket level), in main doors on lower level and turn left
    2) buy a COP Pass at ticket counter inside. There will be a separate line-up for racers. Show bib for a discount.
Meet: 9:10am for warmup. We will meet at the white warming tents by the trailhead (east end of parking lot).
Race Start: Jackrabbit: 10:00 am, Mini Midgets: 10:10 am (approximately)
Race format: King’s court sprint race, each skier will ski three rounds

Wax: Use what you have in the -4to -10 range. Here are suggestions.
    1) LF4 (hard wax, scrape when warm), Solda F15 violet, LF6
    2) Solda performance red
    3) Solda red
Make sure skis are very well scraped and brushed.

If you still need to register you can do so at http://www.zone4.ca . You will need to print a waiver off the bcrr site (http://www.bcrr.ca/league.php?scriptName=LEAGUEINFO&leagueID=9899&leagueInfoID=35571 ), sign it and bring to race office tomorrow. You do not need to register again if you have signed up for the whole series.

    Weather:
Forecast calls for snow, WIND and falling temperatures (predicted to be -7 overnight and then falling through the day). Please make sure you have a warm jacket and other extra clothing with you as the COP courses are open and exposed. You will be racing three sprint races over the course of 1-1.5 hours and will need to have a warm parka to put on between rounds.

    What to bring:
    extra clothes and parka
    mitts
    lunch
    drink belt and water bottle
sport glasses or visor if you have one in case it is snowing during race

Please remember to check back for any updates.

    See you tomorrow!

    Rhonda
