Hi everyone,

Here are the details for tomorrow’s race:

Race format: Skating Criterium Race with 2 or 3 person teams
Team members will tag off like a relay. It will be like doing a bunch of little sprints with a short break in between. For teams of 2, it just means a shorter break.

Teams: I put together the teams for tomorrow , you will find out your team when you get there. I put together even teams to keep it fun for all. Remember the focus of these races is doing your best and having fun. For the Jackrabbit cateogry (2003-2006) I put together three mixed teams of 3 kids with all registered Canmore Nordic kids including the younger siblings. For the Mini Midget girls there are two teams of 2.

Wax: Solda Performance Red, make sure bases are well scraped and brushed

Arrival time and location at COP:

– arrive ONE HOUR before your start at the above location (please check back here later tonight to see if start times have been changed)
– a CNSC coach will meet you there with bibs,
– when you have your bib you need to go inside and purchase a day pass (discount rate of $8 when you show your bib)
– please be on time because we will have just enough time to get all this done and ski up to the race course before the start
– please bring water, lunch, and lots of warm clothes (parka, ski pants) because this venue has no inside warming area, we will be outside the entire time and the wind will likely be blowing hard!
