    Details:

24km and 42km racers will start in two waves – at approx 10:00
24km and 42km tourers will start in two waves – at approx 10:10.
All 15 km skiers will start in a third wave – approx 10:20, followed by 5 km and 3 km racers until 10:40.
1 km Jackrabbits will race on a separate course across the highway starting at 11:20.

Please plan to arrive 1hr before your start, to find the CNSC wax tent and to get your skis kick waxed. As of right now there is no plan for a delayed start. But if plans change I will try to post something on the forum to let you know. You can also check the Foothills Nordic website tomorrow before coming out to see if the start has been pushed back. Or bring a lunch and wait it out in the heated lodge. Make sure to bring lots of warm clothes, mitts, toques, buffs.

    Glide Wax Recommendation for Saturday:

Glide wax your skis with Swix LF4 (best) or another green wax such as Solda Techno green or Start green. Please make sure the wax pocket is clean, marked with a sharpie and write the number of layers your skis need on painters tape on the tip of the ski. Apply a layer of Swix VG35 basewax (best) or Toko green; heat it in with a heat gun or wax iron (not your glide iron!)

    See you tomorrow!
