    Hi everyone,
First of all I have great news! If you haven’t heard the cancelled races have been rescheduled for next weekend Dec. 6-7th. Here are the details from race organizers:

    Update #4:
    Update at 12:00pm Nov 30, 2014

    1) Racers registered for Nov 29th and/or 30th will automatically have their registrations carried forward to the new dates. There is no need to re-register. Registration will be open for new registrations until Thursday Dec 4th – 11:00pm.
    2) Saturday will be a skate distance race and Sunday a classic distance race.
    3) Updated Race Notice is attached.
    4) Refunds will be offered to racers who had booked the original dates and are not able to attend this rescheduled event. Refunds will be subject to a $7.50 administration fee to cover the costs of the planned weekend and for administrative fees. Requests for refunds can be sent to competitionsecretary@canmorenordic.com.

So with that in mind here is the week ahead:

Monday: Classic (we will change it up from original plan to skate due to cold, slow snow). Wax: Rode multi grade violet, 4 layers. It will still be cold so bundle up, buff, toque and mitts a must. **It will be windy and still cold tonight so we will be heading for the woods right at 5pm.

Thursday: Skate. *For those that did NOT register for the races last weekend but now want to race this is the last day to register, link here: https://zone4.ca/reg.asp?id=7883&lan=1. All those already registered will have their registration carried over to the new dates. Check back here for wax recommendation on Thursday as well as arrival times for kids for Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday: AB Cup 1. **Note new format and distance: Skate, mass start.
    Pee wee: 1km
    Mini midgets: 2km
    Midgets: 2km

Sunday: AB Cup 2. Classic, interval start. Same distances as Saturday. Courses TBD.

    See you all out there.

    Rhonda
