Hi everyone,
With the World Cups this week this is going to be one of the most exciting weeks of the ski season! So here is how it looks:
Monday: Classic, CNC, meet at the west end of the day lodge, bring a headlamp. I will have packages of the club Solda Performance Red glide wax with me – bring $30 if you want some.
Wax : Rode Violet, 3 layersWednesday: World Cup Opening ceremonies. All those in the ceremony need to be there by 5:15pm. Wear a club jacket. Separate email has been sent to participants.
Thursday: Skating, CNC, meet at west end of day lodge, note no access to parking lots at CNC until 4pm on this day
World Cup Classic Mass Start Race (for those lucky enough to catch the race during a school day)

I encourage every TA skier (and their family) to take in at least one World Cup race this week. Bust out your Canadian flags, your cowbells, and get ready to CHEER LOUD for the Canadians and all the other racers!! The World Cup only comes to Canada every 2-4 years and its in our backyard so we really need to take advantage of this. This is also a great oppurtunity to observe the best ski technique in the world skiing right by you. See you up there!
There is no parking up at the CNC all week until 4pm, you need to take a free shuttle bus from downtown Canmore to watch the races or walk up from town.
