Hello TTs,
WAXING INFO: Wax skis with Solda Red. Keep your race skis and bring them with you Saturday to the race. You will NOT be dropping race skis off as per usual as nothing additional is needed this weekend.
Logistics info:
- Arrive 60-90min prior to your start. Check zone4.ca for your start time! Its your responsibility to know your start time.
- Hang-out room for bags and staying warm is room #22.
- Bibs will be in room #22
- Wear a watch!!!
- Access to start will be via the walking tunnel (how you normally get into the stadium for practice)
- You will not be able to ski the course for warm-up as it closes at 9:55am. Review the maps and know your course.
Warm-up info: We will be using a buddy system warm-up for tomorrow. I’ve outlined below what was discussed today with the Exchange kids. Read it HERE. Hilary and the Chelsea coaches will be around the flags to answer questions and keep you on track during your warm-up.
- Know your start time! Write on your hand and wear a watch!
- Find a friend who starts within 2-3minutes of you.
- 35m prior to start use the bathroom
- 30min prior to start begin the following:
- 10min @EASY Zone 1 ski
- 4min @zone 2 ski (breathing a little bit harder) or mobility
- 3min @zone 3 ski, almost race pace
- 1min @race pace
- Be in start area 10min prior to start. Mobility, short sprints, jogging around.
