Hi Team, Great Job this weekend at the races! I saw a lot of people having fun and I was impressed how much your skiing has come along in such a short period of time. Pat yourself on the back! And keep up the good work 😛 😛

Monday 5th: 5:00-6:15pm Skate Ski. Warm up game and continuous ski.

Thursday 8th: 5:00-6:15pm Classic Ski. Prepare your skis with a base binder (VG35, Rode Black) and add Rode Multigrade (0-(-2)) over top.

Saturday 10th: BCRR #1 Team Sprint Skate Deadline to Register is Friday Dec 9th.

Please register individually, coaches will be putting together teams. This is a low key fun race series aimed specifically at introducing TA and T1/T2 aged kids to racing. It would be great to see all the TA participating.

Waxing:
For Saturday’s BCRR: Apply Solda Techno or Performance Red for glide on your skate skis, scrap and brush, bring them up to the CNC the morning of the race. CNSC has 2 glide wax packages for sale that I will have out at sessions this week. Please bring cash or cheques made out to CNSC.
2 different kits:
Kit 1: 2 Solda techno reds, 1 techno green = $20
Kit 2: 2 Solda techno reds, 1 techno green, 1 performance red (low fluoro) = $30
Note: 75 grams for each package (while quanitities last)

Planning Ahead:

Monday Dec 12th: Normal session 5:00-6:30 ITA, LT1, LT2
Tuesday December 13th: We will be adding a session for kids eligible for Alberta Winter Games (born 1996-2001) 5:00-6:30. We will be doing a trial race for selection. It will be a distance skate race. More details for glide wax and timing volunteers to be posted later.

Christmas Holidays:
No session during the Christmas break, but we will be doing a group ski to bring in the New Year (weather dependent) on Thursday January 5th during the day. Mark it on your calendars. Ski with friends, hot chocolate, gummy fruits. Location and specific timing TBD. Check back.
