Hi Team, Great Job this weekend at the races! I saw a lot of people having fun and I was impressed how much your skiing has come along in such a short period of time. Pat yourself on the back! And keep up the good work 😛 😛

    Tuesday 6th
: 4:45-6:15pm Continuous Skate Ski. Bring your rock skis, we’ll venture out to the upper trails.

Wednesday 7th4:45-6:15pmClassic Ski. Prepare your skis with a base binder (VG35, Rode Black) and add Rode Multigrade (0-(-2)) over top. (see correction below in “Planning Ahead”)

Saturday 10th: BCRR #1 Team Sprint Skate Deadline to Register is Friday Dec 9th.
    https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=2510&lan=1&cartlevel=1
Please register individually, coaches will be putting together teams. This is a low key fun race series aimed specifically at introducing TA and T1/T2 aged kids to racing. It would be great to see all the T1 participating.

    Waxing:
For Saturday’s BCRR: Apply Solda Techno or Performance Red for glide on your skate skis, scrap and brush, bring them up to the CNC the morning of the race. CNSC has 2 glide wax packages for sale that I will have out at sessions this week. Please bring cash or cheques made out to CNSC.
    2 different kits:
    Kit 1: 2 Solda techno reds, 1 techno green = $20
Kit 2: 2 Solda techno reds, 1 techno green, 1 performance red (low fluoro) = $30
Note: 75 grams for each package (while quanitities last)

    Planning Ahead:

Tuesday December 13th: This session we will be doing a trials race for kids eligible for Alberta Winter Games (born 1996-2001) 5:00-6:30. It will be a distance skate race. More details for glide wax and timing volunteers to be posted later.

Wednesday Dec 14th: Biathletes: This session will be a biathlon ABWG trials, plan to do the full session of biathlon tonight and follow Roddy’s forum plan. Good Luck!

    Christmas Holidays:
No sessions during the Christmas break, but we will be doing a group ski to bring in the New Year (weather dependent) skiing during the day. Ski with friends, hot chocolate, gummy fruits. Location and specific timing TBD. Check back.

Yippee! You made it through the post.
