Great weekend of racing. 😛 😛 😛
Those races are about as big and formal as it gets for our level and our kids all seemed to enjoy themselves and race hard. Kids worked really hard on learning race routines and I was super impressed with their performance and smiles. If you get a chance to thank a wax tech please take a minute to do so. They worked so hard to get the fastest, grippiest wax out there. I could not do this without the help of our very talented assistant coaches. Thank you all.Parents please check the sign up for tail gunners that was emailed from Megan. We will need parent volunteers this week as we head out far and wide and I do not want to lose any one.
Monday: Adventure skate ski. 5:00-6:30 After a quick stadium game we are heading out for an adventure ski. Be sure to arrive on time and with a HEADLAMP and a water belt. We will not be travelling on any lit loops. 😯
Thursday: Crazy Hat Classic ski. 5:00-6:30I will post a wax recommendation either the night before or early in the am.
Sunday: Christmas party. We have the gymnastic’s area booked from 4-5:30. I will order some pizza and set up in the party room. If you would like to bring a small appetizer or salad to share please do. Kids will need to bring their own plate and cup.
Deadline to register for Alberta Youth Championships is getting closer. Please register intent on the google doc by Dec 10 and early registration discount on Zone 4 finishes December 15.
December 14 and 17 will be our last skis together before we break for Christmas.
