Wowzers, what a cold week!! I hope you all managed to stay active but were sensible with your activities and stayed warm while protecting your lungs. At least we got some some and with the cold temps and snow making we should be able to ski a few different trails this week

*It will still be quite cold this week so please make sure you are dressed appropriately for the workout. Removing your toque at -18 with additional wind chill because you’re too hot is not ideal so please ensure you have layers that keep you warm but allow your body to release some heat too.

Please glide wax your skate and classic (glide zones only) with LF4 to help protect them from this cold snow (this should also be done if you put your skis in the Hot Box)!!

Classic skiing again, woo. Due to the temp we won’t do a lot of hard efforts but we will still try to work on some race tactics including mass starts, corning in groups, tracking and speed work somewhere out of the wind. We will head inside for the last half hour so please bring indoor shoes. It’s going to be very cold with the wind chill so please dress warm appropriately. Wax recommendation please put on a base binder of Multigrade an cover with layers of Swix Blue Extra Head lamps essential and drink belts essential.

    Tuesday 13th TT Biathlon:
Practice is on but will only be from 6:30-7:30 to keep everyone warm enough!!!

Skating with some downhill and cornering work, plus some uphill work, well how else do we get back up the top to get more speed 😆 Drink belts and head lamps essential.
