Hello TTs,
The first XC races of the season have arrived! AB Cup 1&2 will be on Saturday and Sunday racing 5km both days for the U14 age category. Registration closes Tuesday the 14th at 23:59, so don’t delay to get signed up. Some of us were having trouble using Firefox on the registration, so I’d recommend Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Safari probably works too, but I haven’t heard either way. Registration link here: https://zone4.ca/reg.asp?id=27534
We will send out a glide wax recommendation later this week. For classic skis, be sure the skis are clean (no sticky bases/sidewalls/topsheet) and the wax lines are well marked. Ensure you have your name on all your skis- near the tips is best.
Information about each day’s race will be shared in a forum post the evening before the race once the Team Captain’s Meeting has wrapped up. Typically by 8pm.
Training this week:
Monday(13) Classic Ski @ CNC
5:00-6:30 Kick wax with Swix blue extra. Meet in the XC stadium as they will most likely still be cleaning up from the para world cups down around the teamroom.
Tuesday(14) Skate Ski @ CNC

5:00-6:30 Meet at the teamroom. Hopefully the courses will be solidified by today for the weekend and we will do our race prep tonight.
