    Hello Team,

Great work kicking off the season with our first biathlon and first xc races!  You should be tired, but some rest and you will bounce back. The age old training effect of applying stress, recover, and have the body adapt to a stronger form at the end. It was a busy weekend and we missed debriefing with many of you after your race to see how applying your Inner Ninja went.  As coaches we are always working to improve our systems as well, so will be trying a new debrief form. Link coming soon.

It is a very busy race calendar coming up between XC and Biathlon races.  To get coach/athlete energy topped off, we will have a 1 week break from team training over the holiday.  We are working on some fun on your own workouts, and will be sharing details shortly.  The period over the holiday is a very good volume block of training that will help carry you through the race season. Details to come soon.

    Training this week:

    Monday(16)– Rest Day

    Tuesday(17)– Jackrabbit Coaching

    Wednesday(18) – Biathlon
4:45-6:15 Classic Biathlon, mostly Z2 with some sprints/relays

Note from Mark: If you won our Smooth Operator challenge last week, or won the combo challenge (PS and all prone), expect your 1/4 apple pie tonight. Apples turned out to be not good on the inside. No pie tonight, expect on first session back January.

    Thursday(19) With XC
4:45-6:15 Classic distance and sprints. Meet at 5pm in the XC Stadium. Pack your headlamp!

    Saturday(21)- Saturday(28) No team training.

We will do some fun Holiday sessions over the break as well as some extra shooting session, these will be on : Dec 30, Jan 2, Jan 4
