    Hello TTs,

It is an exciting time in Canmore with the Para World Cups happening in town and the race season under way.

The first AB Cup of the year will be December 18/19 here in Canmore hosted by our club!  Registration fees increase on December 10, so don’t delay and register today.  Info about the race and registratoin is here:  /club-events/ab_cup_2021/

Be sure to sign up on the club sign up so we know how many skis we will be waxing. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MCxfd6Qg142NbSPAYbn1gyrESuq3LqQ-8OGzC27nTgU/edit#gid=0

    Training this week:

    Monday(6) Classic ski @ CNC

5:00-6:30 Classic skiing, follow the waxing guide for fresh snow. Meet in the XC Stadium

    Tuesday(7) Classic ski@ CNC

5:00-6:30 Classic skiing.  We will be embracing our para athletes. Everyone bring a buff. Changed to classic as the vast majority of trails are set with 3 tracks across the whole trail.

    WEDNESDAY (8) Biathlon @ CNC

    6:30-8:00 Biathlon training

    Saturday(11) Skate distance @ CNC

12:30-2:30 Long distance skate ski at the Nordic Centre.  We will get out on the natural snow trails and ski about 20km.  Pack a bar in your drink belt to eat at the half way point.  Everyone NEEDS to train with a drink belt regularly.  Skiing for 2 hours without drinking leaves you very dehydrated and negatively impacts your ability to perform at training and recover.
