What an awesome weekend of racing!! I was super impressed with how all of you skied and handled yourselves on two pretty tough courses. Remember to take note of what you did well and what you can improve on for next time. 😛 😛
Monday (8)
NO Team practice. It’s time for a rest after camp, cold temps and racing give yourselves the night off. Go for a short easy jog then spend some time using a roller or spikey ball to loosen and relax all those racing muscles.
Wednesday (10)
Skate ski. We’ll head out on to some of the smaller trails to work on some technique transitions. Please be on time and wear your head lamp as we will head out at 5pm. Remember: hot dots for hot chocs. 😆
Saturday 13
Well this chinook sure ate a lot of snow in these parts, but Lake Louise was able to dodge the bullet and stay cool. Meet at the Chateau Lake Louise parking lot, South East lot at 10:15 AM. We will head out and ski Fairview/ Moraine Lake Road. 2.5 hours of skiing, pick up at 12:45 at the same place. Classic skiing. Trusty Rodi Multigrade Violet should kick well tomorrow.
**Make sure you clean and re-wax your race skis, Solda Perf Red will do just fine! If you have separate training and race skis, clean kick wax off, brush your race skis well, wax and leave them. If you only have one pair of skis clean, brush and wax, leave them a day then scrape and brush them for this weeks workouts.
Things work out best for those who make the most of how things work out.
