Hi Everyone, Great job at the BCRR this weekend. It was a very challenging day and I was impressed how everyone persevered through the difficult conditions.

    This week:
Mon Feb 14th- CLASSIC. The forecast is for a mixed bag tomorrow with warm conditions. Here are some guidelines and choices for waxing for tomorrow. If it is snowing yet it is warm use a warm wax, let it cool outside and cover it with a colder wax. Eg. 2 layers of Violet (0), or Rode Red, covered by 1 layer of Rode super blue (-1-(-2)) or Swix V40 or V35. If it is warm all day and a bit of rain, apply Start Wide or Swix universal wax. If it is warm with no snow or rain, you can try a warm hard wax for kick, something for plus 0 conditions. If it is warm, around zero but snowing with fresh snow. Clean your bases and rough up the kick zone with 80-100 grit sandpaper. And leave it. No wax, nothing. Good Luck!

Thurs Feb 17th- SKATE. Apply some fresh glide wax and you’ll be ready to go. Or better yet supervisor your Track Attack athlete with the iron and have them wax their skis.

    A few reminders:
For those that are going to the AB Midget Champs in Vermillion, I will be sending out more details early this week. If you have not registered, you need to by Tuesday on http://www.zone4.ca. Adults that are planning to attend the banquet please purchase an additional ticket when registering for yourself.
