Hi Team, Hopefully you enjoyed a nice long weekend and a great day with your family today. This week:

Tuesday 4:45-6:15 CLASSIC. Waxing could be a bit tricky with new snow, yet warm temperatures. Best option is to arrive for the session with time to check out the snow, and then apply either a hard wax, klister, or no wax (hairies) depending on conditions. Hard Wax option: Rode Violet (0) or Rode Red (+2), Klister: Swix universal, No wax: rough up clean bases with 80-100 grit sandpaper. You would do this option if they haven’t groomed the new snow into the old snow or if we get some flurries tomorrow morning and then the sun warms things up.
We will also be going inside for the last 30minutes for some strength and stretching. Have a t-shirt on as a base layer.

    Wednesday 4:45-6:15 SKATE.

Saturday. Kananaskis Cookie Race. There will be waxing support at the race site, look for the CNSC white tent shelter or the CNSC jackets. I will be away with the Quebec Midget Norams. Glide wax can be done at home, check the weather and apply appropriately. K-country always seems to be a bit colder than the Canmore forecast. Check the forum for recommendation on binder and/or grip wax later this week.

    Have Fun!
