Athlete of the Month
We have had a lot of great results and watched some incredible performances at AWG. Take a moment to think about which athlete you would like to nominate for our athlete of the month. I think that they are all fabulous but there is one kid in particular who knocked everyones socks off at AWG because she put a huge effort into extra training in preparation for the games. I have sent the email link to everyone.

Monday Feb 22
Klister up you skis we are heading out for a classic ski night. Meet at the lower biathlon parking lot at 5:00 ready to ski. Drink belts and headlamps on board.

Thursday Feb 25
Skate ski. We are nearing the end of the headlamp skis but lets keep up with them for at least this week. The screaming downhills in the dark are not as much fun when the snow gets sticky. Drink belts too!

Feb 27 Cookie race
Last day to register is this Wed Feb 24.
http://www.cookierace.com This is a kids favourite classic race. There are cookies and treats galore. It’s a super fun event for our TA athletes if they have not raced before. Please remember to bring your own cup, bowl and spoon for the delicious soup.

March 4-6
Alberta Youth Championships
Trip document will be emailed to those who are registered.
Deadline to register is Feb 29. Registration is on zone 4.
This event is for the 2005 and 2004 kids. ITA kids will be up for it next year.
