Family Bush Ski Adventure:
It’s currently -20 and that’s the high for today, however, Sara has offered to guide us on an urban bush ski around south Canmore. Due to the freezing temperatures, we are going to require this to be a family ski meaning that each child needs to bring a parent, they can bring their siblings and or both parents but at the minimum, they need to have one parent. We will meet at 5:00 in the LGMS parking lot totally bundled up with winter snow pants, down coats, hats, mitts, face masks and hand and foot warmers on our classic skis. Wax with green and be prepared for urban conditions including crossing paths, roads, travelling over logs and manoeuvring on skinny trails.

Thursday Feb 9

Crazy but the weather man is predicting -1 for this day so we will be doing a poker ski. It’s a race to get the most check points and win the best poker hand of the night. I will need a few extra volunteers to be the dealers so please sign up.

Practice is reserved for the kids who did NOT go to AYC. If you went to AYC it’s a mandatory night off. Stay home and get your Valentine’s Day treats organized! 😆
