    Hello LCs,

Good racing up in Red Deer. You will notice this week is a bit lighter to give you some rest from a race weekend or prepare for Easterns. As well, with THE BEST BIATHLETES IN THE WORLD right here in our home town, it will be great to get out and watch as many races as possible from the Canmore Nordic Bleachers. Details on the home page.

Club Athlete of the month – January
It’s that time again, so get voting! It’s been a long month with many competitions in different locations so think about all the workouts and races and who’s been a great team member. Polls close on Friday 5th February

We do not have access to our teamroom until February 8, so be sure to note the meeting places for training. Parking may be challenging, so be ready to park a little ways away from the day lodge or BWTC.

    Training this week:

Tuesday(2): 5:00-6:30 Classic distance (if raced in Red Deer) or speed work (if did not race in Red Deer) . Meet at the South East end of the stadium near the ice skating rink.

Wednesday(3): 4:30-6:30 Skate ski. Meet at the South East end of the stadium near the ice skating rink.

Thursday(4): 4:30-6:30 Skate ski and strength. Meet in front of the bill warren. If you need to drop off clothes/shoes for they gym, you can leave them in the BWTC.

Saturday(5): 3:30-6:00 Zone 1 Classic ski. Meet at Goat Creek parking lot. We are starting at an odd time to give you a chance to see the Biathlon races, but still ski in the light.
