Wow! What a great weekend of racing in Red Deer. I was super impressed with how you managed yourselves, your enthusiasm and how you handled the conditions and the narrowness of the track. As a coach it was inspiring to see you all ‘givin er’ with everything you had, both days! Way to go team! 😛Remember that with the World Cup you won’t be able to park near the team room so allow for this in your arrival at workouts.
Monday 1st
NO WORKOUT – have a well deserved rest after a big weekend of racing in Red Deer. Take some time to make some notes in your training diary/notepad. Reflect on what you did well and what you could have improved on. Think about how you skied the courses and what you were saying to yourself while you were racing. I will collect these at the workout next Monday to see how you are going with your race planning and reflections.Wednesday 3rd: 5 – 6:30pm

Classic time trial at CNC. Meet in the cross country stadium and we will ski together to the start. We will try to find some clean snow, so the final location will depend on how much wind we get tonight. Wax recommendation is for Swix Universal klister, but not too thick. Alaric will be running the session, so contact him if you have any questions: 403 707 6329.
*Remember there is no parking at the Nordic Centre, so walk up early (check out the art between the power plant and the CNC), or hope your awesome parent drops you off at the entrance. The biathlon races will be exciting to watch: 10:00 am for the men and 11:30 for the women; maybe we’ll see some of you there.Built 4 Speed – Bragg Creek
