For the next 2 weeks we will not have access to the Team Room as it is being used by the Canadian Biathlon team for the upcoming IBU Cup races. We will meet out the front of the Bill Warren Training Centre for our sessions. You will be able to leave some things in the CNSC office at the BWTC if you need to during the sessions.

    Monday (23)
Classic technique working on Diagonal Stride followed by a Classic Team Sprint. Woo Hoo! 😛 It is going to be warm this evening so klister is still the go as far as kick waxing goes. Try Universal (Swix or Start Wide) with a little red (Rode or Swix KR60) mixed in under the foot. Please be waxed and ready to ski at 5pm. Drink belts/bottles essential!

    Wednesday (25)
Skating working on accelerations over different terrain while keeping our technique solid! Please be ready to ski at 5pm as we will be heading out on the trails and skiing continuously for the session. No race skis please as there are some patches of dirt on the trails we will ski.

    Saturday (28)
Due to the Cookie race being cancelled 😳 we will get together for a family ski adventure at Lake Louise 10am – 12noon. Meet at the top carpark, right near the lake. Drink belt and snack essential. Classic is the go! Scrape your klister off and get the stick waxes back out (make sure you leave some time between using wax remover and applying the stick wax as it won’t bind to the base with fresh wax remover on it)! Put on a layer of Rode Multigrade and cover with 3 layers of Swix Blue Extra. It is predicted to be -10 tomorrow morning so you will need to layer up, especially as it is very windy skiing on the lake but protected when skiing the smaller trails between the trees, which we will be doing 😛

There are many people who have more talent than you, but there is no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do.
