Alain ParentKeymasterWe are coming to the end of our season 🙄 It’s been a fun winter with lots of lesson learned and some great training and racing. With the final events of the season coming up make sure you are getting the most out of your training by being prepared for workouts with water, snacks and keeping on top of your homework!!

NO WORKOUT for biathletes who attended Westerns in HintonSkate agility and team sprint. This will be a super fun workout, we’ll have many guest coaches and the LT2s joining us so be prepared to listen well and have load of fun 😛 Bring your drink belt!
Tuesday 28th TT Biathlon
Regular Practice 6:30-8:00Wednesday 1st March
T2s involved in Nationals 4:30 – 6:30pm Skate – gates practice for the Relay X.All other skiers 5 – 6:30pm. Classic working on the AB Cup courses with speed work mixed in. Drink belts needed! Wax recommendation: iron in a base binder – thin. Apply Rode Multigrade once the binder has completely cooled with one less layer (because the base binder counts as a layer).
Friday 3rd 1:30 – 2:30pm
Due to the half day we can sneak in some pre-race preparation on the AB Cup courses. Skating for those who did classic Wednesday, Classic for those who were skating on Wednesday.The forecast is looking quite stable for the weekend in our typical Canmore conditions. Please glide wax your skis with Solda Performance Red, both skate and classic skis.
For Sunday’s Classic Race, clean your skis, glide wax with performance red, and be sure your Kick wax lines are clearly marked. Drop off skis at 8PM Saturday night.

AM Mass Start Fr 2 x 1.5km
PM Club relays 3 x 3kmSunday 5th
Classic pursuit start. This means you will start the number of seconds you finished behind the winner the day before. First one across the line wins the race!!

Ski Olympics with Rhonda! Skate. This will be the final workout for skiers not involved in the XC Nationals so lets try to get as many of you there as possible and have some serious funT2s involved in Nationals 4:30 – 6:30pm with LCs.

End of season ski and party!!!
Meet at the BWTC at 5pm ready to ski. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join us. We will head out for a fun skate ski with some parent vs athlete challenges.
