Great work at the Easterns for those that went! Skied like pros…
The AWG’s are coming in 3 sleeps….
A mixed week now, with recovery and getting primed for the Games. Looks like it will be a cold few days. Here’s the plan:
Tuesday (4): T3/LC. If you attended the Easterns and feeling 5/10 or less (remember that 5/10 is an “average or normal” rating), then stay home and stretch for 15min. If you are feeling 6/10 or better or you didn’t attend the Easterns, then come and join for an indoor session of cardio and strength in gym. Looks like a cold evening so we are staying indoors. 17:15-18:30, go straight to gym at bwtc. Bring the club equipment tonight if you went to Easterns
Wednesday (5): T3/LC. The forecast is for another cold day. We will classic ski tonight. Please do not kick wax your skis with anything warmer than Swix Blue extra. Dress warmly with Buff over face, but a tuque on your noggin. 16:30-17:30. We will go ahead with the workout today. Dress warmly. Please do the attached home routine if you can’t make the workout – 2 sets. Please bring the club equipment from Easterns if you haven’t done so already.
Thursday (6): No team training tonight. Go watch the AWG opening ceremony in Banff if you are not already in the ceremony!
Friday (7): T3/LC. We will attempt do some classic intensity today. Arrive at 11:45am to check out some of the AWG sprint finals (if not delayed!) – dress warmly. We will start our workout at 12:45pm – meet at the west end of flag row. Wax with Swix blue extra. We will try to stay away from the team room as the AWG crew is using it. We will be done around 2:15pm
Saturday (8): No team training today. Check TP. If you didn’t attend the workout today, do 6 X 1min efforts in classic starting with mid Z3 and ending in mid Z4. rest 3min.
