Hello LCs,
With the completion of Easterns, we have wrapped up the second chunk of racing this season. Now it is time for a little rest, then dive into a quality bit of training to prepare the best we can for Nationals here in our home town! It is 40 days until the first race, which means some great gains can be made in the next few weeks with some good training to be sure you are in the best shape you can be for the races. On Saturday when everyone is back in town we will go over the training plan of the next 5 weeks that will prepare you as best as possible for the races.
Training this week:
Tuesday(7) 4:30-5:30 Classic ski, Meet at the teamroom. It is forecasted to still be quite cold, so I have shortened the session to make the most of it.
Wednesday(8) 4:30-6:30 Skate ski. If you did not race at Easterns, we will be doing some intensity, so bring your A game. Everyone meet at the teamroom.
Thursday(9) 4:30-6:30 Strength and Skate Ski. We will start in the gym. Meet at the BWTC.
Saturday(11) 10:00-12:00 Classic Distance at CNC. Meet at the teamroom. It may be busy with the Grizzly Ski Marathon, but we will find plenty of skiing out there.
