Hi T1/2 team

we are coming into a very busy time in our events calendar – a reminder to register.

Feb 2 – Nipika Classic race – https://zone4.ca/onlinereg.asp?id=5075 registration closes Thurs Jan 31. This event will be lead by Roy, Matt, and Michel. Event info is at http://www.nipika.com/toby-creek-nordic-skate-loppet – it looks like the first category starts at 11am – we will likely try to be there for 930am so leaving Canmore at 8am. Feb 2-3 – Camrose Calforex Cup – a number of T1/2 biathletes will attend this event – registration at https://zone4.ca/reg.asp?id=4327&lan=1&cartlevel=1 closes Wed Jan 30.

Feb 7-9 Canmore Tour de Ski – this club event will run during practice on thursday, Feb 7 and include two additional events on Saturday Feb 9 (a.m.). We will need a few parents to help us with this. Registration link coming soon.

Feb 16-17 – Kootenay Cup Kimberley – this event is aimed at T1s – registration at https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=4349 last day to register Thursday Feb 14. Roy will lead this trip for T1s.

Feb 20-24 – Western Canadian Championships, Grande Prairie – this event is aimed at T2s – registration at https://zone4.ca/onlinereg.asp?id=5198 last day to register Monday Feb 18. We will be taking a chartered bus and staying at Camp Tamarack.

Feb 23 – Cookie Race, Pocaterra – this event is aimed at T1s – registration at https://zone4.ca/reg.asp?id=4175&lan=1&cartlevel=1 – less expensive registration until Wed Feb 6. last day to register – Thursday Feb 21.

March 1-3 – Alberta Youth Championships – this is a target event for our T1/2s – Bragg Creek. CNSC is cohosting this event, so volunteering at it counts towards volunteer bonds. We are looking for some help with this event. Two individual races plus a relay – all inclusive event including accommodation, meals, event, trail passes, banquet, dance.
