Hi Everyone, here are some details for this Sunday.
Race start is 10:30am. We will be making relay teams so please arrive around 10:00am so we can sort you out into teams. We will have a short break for lunch (Please bring a bag lunch) and then a short afternoon session finishing at 1:30pm. For parents that have signed up to help at the race, the organizers will use us at a station or to move kids around to different stations.
There will be prizes for the best team costumes, as well as individual prizes for costumes. Get crazy and prepare a fun outfit, remeber you need to be able to ski and stay in your costume. Face painting, wigs, and hats are all encouraged.
If you are entered in the BCRR Bow Cup for Youth, the Challenge 500, please take a minute to check your standings on the bcrr website: http://www.bcrr.ca so that the organizers didn’t miss your participation in one of the events.
At 1:30pm we will be going to Southland Wave pool. Adults=$9.90, Youth=$4.95. I will see if I can get a group rate. Kids need to have parent or surrogate parents at the wave pool. Families can leave when they need to. I figure everyone will be heading home around 4pm. Wave pool closes at 6pm.
