    Hello TTs,

Winter break has arrived, along with oodles of snow! As noted on our last day of regular training, the holidays are a great time to get out and enjoy some training in the light! Do your best to get out 6 days a week over the break- Alpine skiing, Backcountry skiing (when conditions permit), snowshoeing, and of course cross country skiing. Getting out for about 20 hours of solid activity will set you up for a great rest of the season-> all the way til March. On the flip side, if you just sit on the couch and eat cookies all break, you will loose a lot of that great training you have done all fall. So get out and enjoy this amazing place we live.

Lots of great adventures for you all to have with friends and family, so just 2 team sessions over the break for TT:

Friday(27) 9:00-12:00 Classic Ski @ Cascade Fire Road
A nice long Classic ski today joining the LC/LC+ program. Put 2 bars in your drink belt today as you will need some extra fuel during the long ski. As well, bring a dry shirt, socks, and lunch for right at the end of the ski. Parents welcome to join. We will meet at the start of the ski trail at the gate by lake Minnewanka. Directions here: https://goo.gl/maps/zBMcGhZ3u62i1Eux7 Wax your skis with Swix Blue Extra as per the waxing guide, but put a stick of Rodi Multigrade Violet in your drink belt.

    Friday(3) 9:00-11:00 Skate Ski @ CNC
We will do a 3.75km Skate Time Trial today. Meet at the teamroom for a group warm up, then get ready to go for it on 1 lap of the World Cup Race Trails.
