Hello U14’s

I hope everyone is staying warm during this cold snap! We have a full week of training & racing coming up!

-We are back to racing this weekend with the rescheduled Westerns, have a look through the race notice so you know what races and distances you will be doing. Race Notice

-The second edition of the Bow Valley Race Series will be happening on Friday January 19th! Mark your calendars! This one will be hosted by Foothills, everyone is strongly encouraged to take part. More info can be found in the link. This is meant to be a fun evening of racing to kick start the race weekend. U14 are competing in teams of 3 so find some teammates and get registered!

Monday(15) Skate Ski @ CNC.
5:00 – 6:00. We will work working on offset this evening. Meet in the stadium. Shortened to 1 hour due to the cold. Please remember to dress warm and wear a touque instead of a headband. 

Tuesday(16) Classic Ski @ CNC.
5:00-6:30. Meet in the stadium.

Thursday(18) Biathlon @ CNC.
No Biathlon tonight, we’ve come to our cold weather cutoff again unfortunately! We will be cancelling instead of moving indoors as we’ve got a busy schedule the next three days for you. We will be adding an additional session in February to supplement this cancellation, specifically to work another SCATT session after the positive results from last week! Hope to see lots of you tomorrow.

Friday(19) Skate Ski @ CNC.
5:30-7:30. Bow Valley Race Series second addition, theme is Friday Night Lights. Pair up into teams of 3 and get registered for a fun evening of skiing. The U14 race starts at 6:20pm. Details and Registration above. There will be an optional group ski of the Sat & Sun race course prior to the Friday Night Race. If interested meet in the stadium at 5:40pm. Saturday(20) Alberta Cup 
Classic 3.5km Mass Start

Sunday(21) AB Cup 
Skate 2.5km Mass Start
