    Hello Biathletes,

    Some great reminders from Matt:
Winter is in full swing and you are all busy with school, training, and racing. Be sure to look after yourselves to ensure you are staying healthy (wash hands often, drink lots of fluids, eat well, and get good sleep ~9hr/night… just to name a few).

We coaches have noticed some of you have grown since September when we measured poles last. Take a minute at home and measure yourself and your poles. Remember: Skate poles= Your height minus 14 CM, Classic poles= Your height minus 24cm. If your poles are too short, it is hard to ski with proper technique.

    This week:

Monday (18): 4:30-6:00 LC1/2 – Range Practice Easy Classic Combo

Tuesday(19): LC1- 4:30-6:30 Skate ski with XC then strength – NO RANGE. Meet at the Teamroom.
    LC2 – 4:30-6:30 Range then Strength. (Skate)

    Wednesday(20): OFF – No Training!

    Thursday(21): LC1/LC2/WS- 4:30-6:15 Range Race Prep – Skate

    Friday (22): Depart to Edmonton

Saturday(23)/Sunday(24): Calforex #4 (Schedule to come.)

Don’t forget to register by the 20th!!!

    Reminder:
With the range closed for the next 2 weeks, and me (Rachel) away, all training will be done with XC (no shooting). I will still update the schedule for you on here as well as your training peaks (LC2s). Dryfire at home if you can!!!!
