Hi everyone,
Happy New Year! Hope you had a super relaxing holiday. Now it’s time to get back at it!Reminder that we need parent helpers to sign up to help out with TA. As of Sunday night there is only one parent signed up for Monday and Thursday. See google sign up doc pasted to top of forum.
Monday: Classic ski. 5-6 pm only as it is supposed to be cold. Wax: 4 layers Rode multigrade purple, covered with one layer of Swix extra blue. Note there will be no games, we will head straight for the woods. Please arrive a few minutes before 5pm so you don’t miss us! A reminder that if you are late and do miss us heading off please don’t let your child ski off by themselves to find us. Kids are the responsibility of parents when they are dropped off with no coaches present. This post will be updated at noon Monday if the temps are colder than forecast and we need to cancel the session. Dress warm!!!
Thursday: Skate. Dress for the weather.
Coming up: Western Canadian Champs and AB Cup 5/6 at Canmore Nordic Centre Jan. 15-18. There are races for TA age kids on Saturday and Sunday. Register on Zone 4. Also a great chance to get your volunteer hours in!
