We will have a crew of racers in Thunder Bay this week at the NORAM World Junior Championships/U23 Trials. The remainder of the athletes will train together in Canmore.

The Red Deer AB Cup is just around the corner (Jan 30/31). If you are going and need a hotel room, call the hotel to book your room. Wendy was able to extend the release date for the group booking rate to Jan 15, so you have a few more days to book. Rooms reserved under Canmore Nordic Ski Club – Baymont Hotel (Formally Red Deer Lodge) Ph 4033468841 to reserve. If you are not staying with the team, it is your responsibility to make it to the team meeting Friday and Saturday night at the hotel.
Monday (11): Athletes going to Thunder bay need to stop by the team room at 5pm to pick up their containers
Tuesday (12): 1630-1830, team room. Classic skiing and strength in gym.
Wednesday (13): 1630-1800, team room. Skating with speed
Thursday (14): 1630-1830:, team room. Classic distance
Saturday (16): 1000-1130, team room. Skate intensity
How completely and quickly one recovers is critical to high-performance training.
