Hello U14,
Well, we usually get a January thaw each year, and it is here in full force this weekend! With all the hard work they have put into the trails at the nordic centre, fingers crossed the snow will hold on the natural snow trails.
For this week I (Matt) will be in Prince George, BC for the Nordiq Canada Selection trials supporting our club athletes trying to qualify for: 2023 FIS World Junior and U23 Nordic Ski Championship Teams, 2023 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships Team, and the COC Leader for Period 4. You are in good hands with Stu and Justin leading sessions and the Edmonton AB Cup. I will have email and can still respond to emails if something is to arise.
Training this week:
Monday(16) Skate Ski @ CNC
5:00-6:30 If you raced in Camrose and you are tired, rest today. Everyone else, meet in the stadium.Tuesday(17) Skate Ski @ CNC
5:00-6:30 Skating again due to the warm forecast. It is great to learn to wax and ski on Klister, but we will save that for another day. Meet in the stadium.Thursday(19) Biathlon @ CNC
