Hello Team. Good job in the BCRR race this weekend despite some heavy training the past week. We will continue a good training load this week and end it with the Toby Creek Loppet on Sunday.

    Tuesday (19): Z1 & Z3 intensity in skating. Team room 4:30-6:15pm.

Wednesday (20): The Olympic Torch will be at the CNC from 4:40 to 5:15pm. Come and watch the action and go for a 1.25hr skate ski after, on your own. The road up to the CNC could be closed for a few minutes between 4:15 and 5:00pm.

Thursday (21): Z1 & Z4 intensity in classic. Try 2 different individual skis. Team room 4:30-6:00pm

Sunday (24): Toby Creek Loppet at Nipika. I will look into the snow conditions and let you know by Thursday. Register by Saturday and organize a ride. I am away this weekend and will not be at Nipika. Everyone to register for the 10km skate event. More information here: http://www.tobycreeknordic.ca, register: http://www.zone4.ca/onlinereg.asp?id=2458. Mass start @ 11:00am. Race package pick up is between 9:00am and 10:00am, and there will be a pre-race meeting @ 10:30am. No race day registration. Count on 1.5-1.75hrs to drive there from Canmore.

    Rest day on Monday…. Enjoy

“Traininig is principally an act of faith. The athlete must believe in its efficacy; he/she must believe that through training he will become fitter and stronger; that by constant repetition of the same movements he/she will become more skillfull and his/her muscles more relaxed…He/she must be a fanatic for hard work and enthusiastic enough to enjoy it.
