BC Midget Champs, T1’s – Salmon Arm
Friday 22nd – drive to Salmon Arm. Race Notice to come.
    Saturday 23rd – Sunday 24th
    2km Classic, Relay, Skate sprint.

    Saturday 22nd: 10am – 12:30pm @ Canmore Nordic Center
Unfortunately it rained all day at Mt Shark and conditions will most likely be unsafe to ski. So we will be training at the Nordic Center. Bring both skate and classic gear. The plan is to skate the race trails, do a full change of gear half way through the session, and classic for the second half of the workout. **Please note that you need to ski as a T2T group even though we are joining the LC’s, and listen to Alaric e.g if he tells you to slow down, slow down 😯 You can peel off the front and ski to the back of the group like we have been practicing rather than getting 30 mins ahead of the rest of the group. We need to make sure that we ski at our easy pace, not LC easy pace.
You will need to bring: skate and classic skis, poles and boots; drink belt & snack; change of clothes to put on after the ski before getting back in the car; lunch to eat in car afterwards. Parents welcome.
Please contact Alaric or Coach Matt for more info or if you’re running late.
