Super great job at the Westerns. It was a very good Championship for Canmore Nordic. Congrats for the results and also for being on top of the ball with organization. A big thank you to everyone helping out in the wax room, in the timing room, moving v-boards, etc….
Recovery time for this week, but please only 2 days without training. Keep in mind that some light training is the best way to help you recover. We will start a volume block when you are recovered.
I will update your Training Peaks once you update iLog (or TP for some). Thanks.
Tuesday (24): No team training, go out for a 1hr Z1 ski or 45min Z1 run after school.
Wednesday (25): 1645-1830, team room. Z1 skate with a few sprints followed by new strength plan in the gym.
Thursday (26): Distance classic ski on the Goat Creek trail. Meet in parking lot at 4:45pm (up the gap, not in Banff!). You absolutely need a head lamp with good batteries for this workout. Bring a water belt (with water!) and a snack. We will be done at 6:15-6:30pm (finish at same parking lot). It would be great to have a couple of parents joining in for this workout. Please email me if you can.
Weekend: We will not get together for official training, but please get out a ski.
