    Hello TTs,

With the mild temperatures, it is a great time to get out for some longer skis and enjoy gliding on the snow. If your skis feel a bit slow, give them a wax with solda performance red to liven them up and glide better. I (Matt) will be out of town this week supporting our older Canmore Nordic Athletes at World Junior/ U23 Trials out in Quebec, but you will be in great hands with Katie, Macx, Heidi, and Morgan leading sessions for the week!

Be sure to get your registration for Kimberley squared away. https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=22955
Katie and Meghan will be leading this trip, so if you have any questions after reading through the trip document and race notice, they will get you squared away.

    Training this week:
    Monday(27) 5:00-6:30 @ CNC
Skate Ski with work on transitions. Meet at the teamroom

    Tuesday(28) *BIATHLON* 5:00-6:30 @ CNC
    Biathlon Race prep.

    Wednesday(29) 5:00-6:30 @ CNC
Classic Ski out on the natural snow trails getting used to a softer track that you will experience at many other race venues. Headlamps are still a must for all evening sessions. You will be out in the dark tonight and it is for your safety as well as your teammates safety. Wax with a thin layer of swix universal klister, let it cool, then cover with rodi violet.

    Saturday(1) 12:30-2:30 @ CNC
With no freeze over night and rain forecasted, we will change to skate skiing at the nordic centre
Still focusing on distance. Pack a bar and bring your rain jacket, and dry clothes for after the ski.

“It’s not just about the destination, but enjoying the journey to get there.” -Lot”s of great athletes
