Great work last week team. We coaches were very pleased with your development of technique. It is amazing the changes you make when you really focus. Let’s keep up the good work and continue to become better skiers out there.

Kathy Davies, the Biathlon Alberta Training Centre coach and long time Canmore Nordic coach in years past, will be joining us for a few sessions this week and next.

    Training this week:

    Monday 29th @ CNC
Skate ski with a continued technique improvement. We will start in the teamroom with some video, then hit the snow.

    Wednesday 31st @ CNC
Skate ski technique night. Meet at the teamroom.

    SUNDAY 4TH @ Lake Louise
As we are an outdoor sport and dependent on weather conditions, we have decided to move Saturday’s training to Sunday given the current forecast. This should allow for a good quality ski at reasonable temperatures. Hope you all can make the adjustment.

It is cold right now but forecasted to warm up. Be prepared just in case it is quite cold we will shorten the ski.

10am to Noon classic ski. We will meet in the upper parking lot at Lake Louise to access some of the smaller trails- Fairview, Tramline, Peytos… directions here: https://www.google.ca/maps/dir/Canmore,+AB/51.4151515,-116.2134264/@51.2571757,-115.7782246,10z/data=!4m6!4m5!1m2!1m1!1s0x5370c59595456331:0x46b6315f9e1e692e!1m0!3e0
Don’t forget a change of clothes and a lunch for after training.
