Hello TTs,
Hopefully everyone had a fun and restful holiday break somehow staying warm. Even with winter break extended 1 more week, I will keep training in the evening due to parents working and possibly not being able to drive in the middle of the day. The cold front looks to be moving out, but every forecast is different out there, so check back for updates on the forum.
AB Cup 3&4 Registration closes Jan 2 at 23:59. Races have been changed to Classic Saturday and Skate Sunday. Register here: https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=27562
Training this week:
Monday(3) Skate Ski @ CNC
5:00-6:00 We will work on our down hill skills today to get used to the XC World cup trails that we are racing on for the weekend. Be sure to have your head lamp as the race trails are not lit. Meet at the teamroom.
Session shortened to just 1hr due to cold. Dress warmly (Mitts, buff, toque, multiple layers) and you should be ok for 1 hr of skiing. We will ski mostly in the treed trails out of the wind. If it seems to cold for you, that is just fine to not attend tonight, there will be many more days of training.
Tuesday(4)Canceled due to cold and getting colder (moved to Friday)

Friday(7) Classic Ski @ CNC
