Happy Holidays and Welcome Back
I hope everyone had a healthy and happy holiday and are pumped to get back to Track Attack. We have some fantastic sessions planned and lots of excitement as we gear up for the Built for Speed and Kootenay Cup in Kimberley.
January 8th: Built for Speed Events are super fun and inclusive events designed to introduce your child to a racing situation in a safe and exciting format. Canmore Nordic is hosting the first event of the season and it will be staged in the stadium so it’s super spectator friendly and if the weather is cold it provides the kids and parents with a nice warm staging area. Registration is live on Zone 4.

January 9th: 5:00-5:45pm**Note shortened session
Classic – wax with Swix Blue extra
45min continuous classic ski due to cold. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately – avoid exposed skin. Make sure they have mitt – no gloves – and hand warmers. Please avoid sending your child this evening if they are sensitive to the cold as the group needs to move continuously to keep warm this evening and cannot wait for skiers who need to stop frequently because they are not prepared or not happy. You may also wish to attend the practice with your child to make sure they are ok. Monica, Justin, Andreas, Sara and Aaron will be your leads for tonight.
Meet on the snow at 5:00 with headlamps and water belts. If your child is not drinking during practice please try to have them drink immediatly following practice. It’s a great habit.
