    Hello U16/U18s,

    The solstice is behind us and Summer is here! That means Canada Day (and the Canada Day Run) is coming up.  This is a great event to challenge yourself with a 5km or 10km running race, and the kick off for the Kaslo camp.

    We will be heading to Kaslo July 2-8 so (as usual) there will be no team training this week as we are at camp.

    Training this week:

    Monday(26)
    Multi/Primo/TTS-Dev
    Scatt sessions today; sign up at this link. Please try to sign up at the same time as a teammate–it helps to run these sessions in pairs. Meeting place by the rollerski treadmill room (bottom floor BiCan/Nordiq Canada offices).

    Tuesday(27)
    Primo/TTS-Dev
    4:45-6:45 Run and Strength.  Females in the gym first, Males running first.

    Wednesday(28)
    Multi/Primo/TTS-Dev
    4:45-6:15 Classic Rollerski with speed. Meet in front of the BWTC.

    Thursday(29)
    TTS-Dev
    5:00-6:00 Females Strength with Chelsea
    6:00-7:00 Males Strength with Chelsea

    Saturday(1)
    Canada Day Run!
    Warm up on your own to be ready for a 9am start. Coaches will be on site to talk & debrief after your race. You might even see some coaches out racing with you! No, not Stu.

     

    A lot of things are out of my control, and that’s all the other athletes. I can be the best I can ever be, and if there’s someone better, they’ll win the race. I’m aware of that.
