    Hello LCs,

Summer time has arrived! Hopefully you are staying cool with this amazing heat, and drinking lots of fluids. Lots of activities coming up this week, so read the posing closely as the days, times, and locations will be new.

Kaslo trip details will be coming shortly from Alain.

If you are going to the Haig, it is required for you to sign the waver via Zone4. The deadline is July 8 at 13:25 Mountain Time. That is in the middle of the Kaslo Camp, so it is best to get it done soon: https://zone4.ca/reg.asp?id=9404&lan=1&cartlevel=1

Monday(29): 9:00-10:30 Running intensity. Meet at the LGMS track.
LC2s who have not done the 15 minute threshold test will be doing your test today. It is necessary for you to have your heart rate monitor, and know how to use it to find your average heart rate.
All other LC2 and LC1 athletes will be doing a fartlek on the 8km Canada Day Run course.

Tuesday(30): 10:00-11:00 GAME DAY! We will meet at Millennium Park. Bring your a-game as Allison has returned and is ready to have some fun.

Wednesday(1): 8:15 CANADA DAY RUN. We will meet as a team at the start/finish area at LGMS to do a group warm up for the race.

Thursday(2): 10:30-11:30 Leave your house at 10AM and cycle for 30 minutes up to the Bill Warren for strength. Cycle home for a cool down.

Saturday(4): 7:30PM– If you are going to Kaslo and need to have your bike transported over in the trailer, bring it to the teamroom tonight. I will be there and we will pack the trailer this evening.

Weather you think you can, or you think you can’t, you are right. –Henry Ford
