    Hello T2s!

    As of June 1 we are allowed to resume team training!  Please still bring your mask for the start of each session and keep your 2M distance.

    This year with not being able to attend the Vernon camp like usual to kick off your summer training, we have decided to offer a June Weekend Camp here in town (noted by email back in April).  The plan is to have 2 longer sessions June 19/20 in the mornings.  1 day will be a bike ride, 1 day a run/hike.  That is still 3 weeks away, but wanted to give some notice to help with your planning.  If your family has already made plans (it is father’s day) or will be away, please let me know so I know how many athletes to expect.

    Training this week:

    Thursday (3) Bike Ride @ Travel Alberta/Legacy Trail

    5:00-6:30 Meet in the Travel Alberta/Legacy Trail parking lot

    We will begin with a safety talk about road biking, discuss dangers and how to avoid them, cover riding in a group/ hand signals, and biking efficiency.  Then we will hit the trail for about a 20km ride.  If you have a road bike, it is great to practice on, but mountain bikes will work too (just pump up your tires nice and firm ~40psi).

    Be sure to have your helmet, water bottle, and a spare tube.
